As the Accounts Receivable Manager, you will have ownership over accounts receivable across the European markets. You will team lead three AR specialists (remotely located) and be responsible for the collection of all invoiced debt across Europe. You will have a significant impact on the financial performance of the group through the reduction in aged debt and credit losses by proactively managing the outstanding debt collection processes and providing timely and accurate collection data.
In this role you will be part of the Financial Control team in our Europe accounting Department and report to the Senior Manager Financial Control Europe. The position is based at EasyPark’s head office, located in Stockholm city center.
About the position
- Team lead three AR Specialist and own the collection of all invoices in Europe
- Be responsible for all AR reporting across the region, and own all the AR policies across Europe
- Making sure that 3rd party dunning and debt collection partners are delivering the grade-A service expected
- Have regular reviews with partners regarding their performance and service levels
- Ensure that there is no overdue debt for markets where a 3rd party partner is not utilized
- Work and support with the relevant teams across EasyPark Group (e.g. product, technology & data teams) to resolve any queries of AR best practice
- Drive a process of continuous improvement at both an individual market and regional level
- Take an active part in implementation of new ERP
Your profile
You have a relevant degree combined with at least five years of experience within a multinational business in a similar role. You have previous experience in dealing with 3rd party invoicing/payment processing partners, dunning and collection providers. You should also have a working knowledge of pan-European collection legislation and practices. Experience working with payment processors would be an advantage. You would need strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English.
