About the position
As a Production Controller at Cibes Lift AB, you will play a central role in ensuring an efficient and well-coordinated production process. You will have a close collaboration with the Managers within the operation and production to develop and implement initiatives aimed at improving productivity, reducing costs, and enhancing efficiency. This includes evaluating various business plans, assisting in scenario building, and recommending appropriate actions. You will also work on maintaining and further developing reports summarizing production results and key performance indicators to measure production performance and efficiency.
You will take a central role in budgeting, forecasting, and follow up primarily on cost of goods sold (CoGS), and also sales and margins for both produced and sold lifts. Your responsibilities extend to participation in various organization improvement projects and other finance-related initiatives.
In this role you will join a controlling team consisting of two and report to the Finance and Controlling Manager. The position is located in Gävle, Sweden offering flexible working arrangements and a balance between office-based and remote work.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Provide business-oriented support to the Managers within the operation and production in cost monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting for production cost centers.
- Responsibility for updating and maintaining the cost calculation manual in connection with the budget.
- Responsible for follow-up, analyzing monthly operational and financial reporting in relation to closing work within production.
- Take an active role in developing Cibes Lift AB’s model for production control and production accounting in Monitor.
- Participate in efforts to ensure optimal inventory turnover and minimize excess inventory.
- Participate in and lead various ad hoc projects, such as implementing new tools for reporting, analysis, and monitoring.
Your profile and qualifications
To succeed as a Production Controller, you must be an analytical and solution-oriented person with a structured approach to work. You are motivated by a role that brings you close to the business and can both initiate improvements and ensure the implementation. You thrive in a dynamic environment characterized by development. You enjoy independently exploring and resolving issues, as well as collaborating effectively with others within the organization.
You have an academic degree in Business Administration or a related field. Following this, you have gained qualified experience in controlling, ideally within a manufacturing company. You possess strong system skills and use Excel at an advanced level. Additionally, you have experience with BI tools and preferably systems designed for production control and production accounting. You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.
