As a Senior Business Controller, you will join our forward-oriented FP&A function and further help develop it as the company continues to reinvent the music industry. We are looking for someone who is structured, analytical, and outgoing, and who would thrive in our dynamic and fast-growing company.
Your tasks and areas of responsibility
You will work closely to stakeholders throughout the whole organization and key responsibilities includes supporting the business and senior management with financial analysis and ad-hoc business performance reporting as well as managing budgets and forecasts.
The role includes working with project management and process development from a FP&A point of view. Epidemic Sound is rapidly growing, and as Senior Business Controller you will be involved in projects securing efficient and solid data- and process flows in our financial- and bi-systems. By staying up to date with trends and best practice you will play an important part in building the structure on group level.
Joining a goal-oriented and welcoming team of five, you’ll report to the VP Financial & Business Performance Manager, with the role based in Stockholm, Södermalm.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Financial management reporting
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Revenue and cost analysis
- KPI reporting and visualization
- Process development in line with team objectives
- Business performance follow up
Your profile
You have a university degree in economics, and we anticipate approximately 4-5 years of experience in a Business Controller role. To excel in this position, we expect you to have experience working in a scale-up company, preferably within a publicly listed and international setting. Additionally, experience in a streaming and subscription-based companies is advantageous. Moreover, proficiency in Excel and fluency in English are essential requirements.
