About the position
Sustainability within Boliden means to evaluate environmental impacts, take social considerations, and secure lasting results. As Sustainability Controller you will be involved in managing reporting and analyzing topics within the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) areas for Boliden Group. It also includes being updated on international guidelines and targets and to have internal and external stakeholder dialogues to ensure that different demands and expectations are being considered.
You will be a part of the Group Climate & Sustainability control team, consisting of 3 Sustainability Controllers and you will report to the Director Group Climate & Sustainability control. The position is located at Boliden’s head office at Klarabergsviadukten in the central of Stockholm, with possibilities of flexible and hybrid working.
You will work with a broad variety of tasks within the team, but for example you will be involved in following:
- monthly sustainability reporting & follow-up process
- implementing and following the progress on CSRD/ESRS
- preparing the Annual- and Sustainability report
- support the Investor relation function with ESG related data and information
- coordination of the sustainability roadmap together with business areas and group functions
- improve processes and system tools to enable traceable, efficient and credible data
What we are looking for
You have an academic educational background in economics, engineering or equivalent, preferably with a focus on climate/energy/sustainability. You also have a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience from sustainability, auditing, controlling or consultancy. Most importantly, you have a great interest working in the sustainability area and an understanding of general sustainability concepts and climate standards. You are fluent in English and Swedish and have a high degree of literacy in Microsoft Office products.
When it comes to your personal skills, you are a structured and analytical person who always strive to be quality minded and thorough in your work. Since this position includes many social points of contacts it is essential that you are communicative and can easily adapt to your surroundings.
