Permobil offers the opportunity for their next Group Tax Manager to make a significant impact in their organization and to contribute to improving the lives of individuals with mobility challenges. As the Group Tax Manager at Permobil you will have a broad role that involves working with international corporate taxation and tax accounting, as well as designing and implementing global tax strategies. The Group Tax Manager will also lead interactions with tax authorities in audits and litigations and play a key role in decision-making regarding intercompany financing structure, transfer pricing invoices, and tax presentations.

The Group Tax Manager belongs to Group Finance and report to VP Group Finance. Together you are located in Permobil’s modern office in Kista, Stockholm. Permobil offers a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

  • Design and implement global tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
  • Develop, document, and govern the group’s transfer pricing policies.
  • Ensure an efficient intra-group financing and dividend structure.
  • Drive initiatives for a streamlined and cost-efficient corporate group structure, including restructurings and mergers.
  • Provide early-stage involvement in M&A activities, leading tax due diligence, and acquisition structuring.
  • Calculate and monitor the group’s effective tax rate (ETR).
  • Collaborate as a speaking partner to the Investor tax team in areas such as CbCR and GloBE/Pillar II
  • Support regions with transaction structuring from a VAT perspective.

Requirements

You have a university degree in law and/or in business administration. After your studies we see that you have at least five years of tax experience in an international corporate environment, either from industry and/or consultancy. It is an advantage if you have been working with US taxation before. A strong technical knowledge across a broad range of taxes is required, as well as a general understanding of finance and accounting in a large corporate environment. Fluency in English is a must, as you will operate in an international environment. 

Equally important as having the right experience is having the right entrepreneurial mind-set and willingness to learn. We are seeking a meticulous and analytical person, who can keep a holistic and proactive perspective. You are a person who works well independently and feel confident in taking full ownership of the tax function, as well as having no problem with co-operating with several different stakeholders both internally and externally.
