Your areas of responsibility

The Business Controlling team at Securitas Group has an ambition to move from being mostly transaction- and reporting oriented to being deeply intertwined with the business as trusted advisors, providing essential financial insights to support management in decision-making. As a part of the team, you will be a part of this transformation and help establish a modern, effective and distinctly value-accretive function. The team will consist of seven high-performing individuals all working under the ambition to turn effective business control into a distinct competitive advantage.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Conduct financial analysis for data-driven insights to senior management, including developing tools and reports using Excel, Power BI and other platforms
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor on budgeting, cost reduction, and investments to the business functions you have been assigned
  • Develop and track key financial KPIs, offering actionable insights and recommendations
  • Support the development of Group-wide standards, policies, processes and related tools and documentation
  • Support the VP of M&A in the development and execution of the M&A strategy, including running strategic M&A projects

The position is located at Securitas’ head office in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.

Your profile and qualifications

To qualify for this position, you should consider yourself a proactive and high-performing individual. You must possess strong analytical abilities, specifically in conducting thorough financial analyses that yield data-driven insights for decision-making, including forecasting and simulations. As this role involves frequent interactions, exceptional communication skills and adaptability are crucial. You should excel in a flexible and dynamic setting, where abundant opportunities for personal growth are available to the right candidate.

You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, and have a minimum of five years of professional experience – likely as a consultant with a Big 4 firm or in group control within a large corporation. You possess a strong background in enforcing financial discipline through budget management, cost control, and risk assessment. Additionally, you have proven expertise in conducting in-depth financial analyses that provide data-driven insights for decision-making. Experience in M&A transactions is a plus, as is the ability to lead and support M&A initiatives. You are fluent in English and have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
