Kiwa is now looking to hire their first Risk Manager Nordics. This is an exciting opportunity if you are experienced in risk management and want to work in an international and entrepreneurial organization with stable and ambitious owners!

About the position

As Risk Manager Nordics your main area of responsibility will be to execute the Kiwa Nordic risk management and internal control processes that have been issued and newly rolled out. You will stay connected and aligned with the Kiwa Global Corporate Risk & Control function in the Netherlands. The role is broad, and you will work with everything from financial and legal to operational risks. Country managers and CFO: s in the Nordic countries will be your main point of contact and you will report to Kiwa’s CFO in Sweden. Initially there will be a strong focus on building up, developing, and educating the organization from a risk perspective.

The position is based in Solna, with hybrid work conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Be a sparring partner to the business you support and provide proactive advice in process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Help the Nordic management teams to execute annual risk assessments and test controls to identify process improvements.
  • Coordinate the testing process and discuss and report the outcomes to the Nordic management teams and to Corporate Risk & Control.
  • Help the business in following up on identified actions and track and report on progress of these.
  • Locally embed the Corporate Segregation of Duties policy with support of relevant departments. You will help the business by identifying any gaps to the SoD policy and support by addressing follow-up e.g. embedding controls.
  • Contribute to an efficient business process environment by providing advice on control automation and data analytics solutions.

Experience

To be a suitable candidate we believe that you have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business/Finance. After your studies you have demonstrable experience in and a good understanding in Risk and Internal Management structures and methodologies and experience in applying these. Today you are probably working in a similar role, as a Risk Consultant, or as an Internal Auditor. You may have started your career within audit and have then taken the step towards a position within Risk Management. Written and oral communication in English and Swedish is a must. Finally, it is a plus if you have knowledge in Segregation of Duties.

Personality

As this position entails talking to and collaborating with many different stakeholders in the organization, we see that you have strong communication skills and can easily adjust your message depending on the recipient. You are driven by results, are structured and take great responsibility for your own work. To influence and motivate your surrounding comes natural to you and you can deal with resistance and change. You have a business-oriented mindset, and you always see to the overall purpose when doing things.
