We are looking for a person with treasury experience who is eager to join a large, long-established, and international company. You will be given a broad and varied role with a great responsibility for the company’s funding. About the position
As Funding and Trade Finance Manager you will play an important part in Boliden’s work with financing, financial risks and reporting, both internally and in contact with many external stakeholders. Several of the tasks are of great complexity and extends broadly within finance, but also touches other areas such as finance law and sustainability. The duties will include operational and strategic work and you will have a great responsibility for the company’s Funding operations and activities. An important aspect of this is to contribute to Boliden’s bank relations. As Funding and Trade Finance Manager you will be an active support to the commercial department and have the opportunity to work close to top management.
You will belong to the Treasury department consisting of six people and report to Group Treasurer. The position is based at Boliden’s head office in central Stockholm.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and manage financial risks in accordance with policy and ensure that the company continue to meet requirements in financial documentation
- Work to ensure that the company has available and appropriate credit facilities to meet payment obligations
- Financial documentation; improvement work and negotiations (syndicated and bilateral loans, bonds etc.)
- Procurement of Trade Finance products and other relevant banking services for the Group
- Interaction with bank and legal expertise (internal and external)
- Develop Boliden’s work within sustainable financing across Group functions
Your profile
You have a university degree in Finance or Business Administration. We believe that you have at least five years of relevant financial work experience. Today you are probably working at a corporate treasury department or at a bank. It is a merit if you have experience from working in a larger corporate group, preferably in industry. Finally, you have a strong proficiency in spoken and written English and Swedish.
Personal skills
We are looking for a well-structured, analytical, and committed person. You are self-motivated and driven but are at the same time a prestige less team player. The ability to build both good internal and external relationships will be crucial to succeed in this position. We therefore believe that you have good social skills and are trustworthy and communicative. You see the big picture and understand the Boliden Group’s overall needs.
