In your role as Financial Controller, you will be involved in the financial reporting as a part of the Group’s financial control team that today includes 5 people, both in Sweden and Poland. We appreciate to work as a team and one of Pierce main values is We win together. You will also work closely with various departments, the CFO and other department heads. You will report to the Head of Financial Control and the office is located in nice premises in Västberga, Stockholm.

Your main responsibilities

  • Review and analysis of month- and year-end closes together with the finance control team
  • Ongoing work with internal control and compliance involving reporting and framework
  • Part of creating interim- and annual reports for the Group and legal entities
  • Involved in the Group’s tax-related questions involving tax structure, transfer pricing
  • Perform the consolidation reporting of the Group’s entities
  • Work with development and analysis of the Group’s main warehouse located in Poland
  • Involved in development, implementation & maintenance of the Group Financial Reporting tool – Bizview
  • Involved and driven in the work to develop and improve current processes and routines and other ad-hoc tasks within finance

Your Profile

We believe that you have an academic degree in economics or equivalent education, as well as 3-4 years of experience within work as an audit or financial controller. You have also some knowledge of IFRS and consolidation processes. A genuine interest in systems is also very meritorious, as there is a constant development of systems and functions in close collaboration between different departments, not least IT and Finance. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both English and Swedish is a requirement.
