About the position

Etac now needs to strengthen the Group Consolidation & Reporting team within Group Finance and is therefore looking for a Junior Financial Controller. Group Consolidation & Reporting is responsible for the consolidation of the Group’s financial reporting, including the preparation of the Group´s external and internal financial reporting as well as ensuring compliance with Swedish accounting and reporting standards, rules and recommendations.

You will be part of a high performing team, working with core strategic, operational, and financial questions in a very successful company. Furthermore, the organization is in an exciting phase with continuous development of processes with the help of new technology and digitalization.

The Junior Financial Controller will obtain solid knowledge in Group financial reporting and accounting, financial systems as well as a deep understanding of corporate financial processes. These experiences combined provide an excellent platform for a future career within finance or other managerial positions. The position is located at the Group’s head office in Kista, Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

You will primarily be responsible for the following areas:

  • Group monthly consolidation and financial reporting
  • Preparation of financial analysis and financial reports to senior management, owner, and other external stakeholders
  • Preparation and consolidating of forecasts and budget reporting for the Group
  • Support Etac AB’s accounting team with various accounting and administrations tasks
  • Support local finance teams in Group reporting and accounting matters
  • Administrate and develop Group financial reporting system, Aaro
  • Developing and implementing Group financial reporting requirements and accounting policies Group wide. Etac Group is reporting in accordance with the Swedish accounting rules K3 and ÅRL (Årsredovisningslagen).
  • Contribute to and implementing Group Finance projects and initiatives
  • Support in external and internal audit.

Your profile

You have a university degree in Business Administration, with concentration in Accounting or Finance. You have recently graduated or have 1-2 years of relevant work experience within group-, financial- or business control, finance, or consulting. You are fluent in English and Swedish and have a high degree of literacy in Microsoft Office products especially Excel.
