To help drive the growth journey ahead, Addnode is now looking to strengthen the M&A team with an M&A Manager. This position provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to Addnode’s strategic M&A agenda and work closely with key stakeholders.

About the position

As an M&A Manager at Addnode you will be involved in all steps of the acquisition process. Reporting to Head of M&A, you will work as project lead, driving your own projects from start to finish, as well as in collaboration with Head of M&A. As an M&A Manager you will work closely with senior management and group companies. You will have close contact and coordinate transactions with internal and external partners such as legal and financial advisors. The position will be located at Addnode’s head office in central Stockholm and will occasionally include traveling.

Key Responsibilities

You will primarily work with the following tasks:

  • Drive and coordinate all steps of M&A projects
  • Field queries from business owners, banks and M&A brokers
  • Identify and search for new opportunities for acquisitions
  • Collaborate with divisions and management of group companies to evaluate and prioritize acquisitions
  • Company valuations
  • Negotiate with business owners and their advisors
  • Coordinate with internal and external partners to execute transactions
  • Perform financial due diligence
  • Prepare and participate in presentations and recommendations to Group Management
  • Ad hoc tasks and participate in projects within Addnode Group

Your profile

You have an academic degree in finance/accounting or related field and 5-7 years hands-on experience from transactions. You are most likely working within transaction services at an audit firm, corporate finance advisor, investment banking or a similar position at a global company. You have strong knowledge and experience in financial due diligence and in valuation. Furthermore, you are fluent in English and Swedish.

Personal skills

To succeed in this position, you need strong analytical and project management skills, as well as a commercial mind-set. You display a high degree of organisational skills and endurance in projects. You are results-oriented, diligent and can work effectively independently, as well as in a team environment.
