The ASSA ABLOY group operates through 400 companies in over 70 countries and is now seeking to strengthen the Group Finance function by recruiting a Group Accounting Controller. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work in a highly professional and international environment.

About the position

As a Group Accounting Controller, you will work with a variety of tasks within financial reporting, accounting standards, internal control and acquisitions in a successful industrial company. You will be part of an ambitious Group Accounting team of three people and report to Head of Group Accounting. The team is responsible for the consolidation of the Group’s monthly financial reporting including the preparation of the Group’s Interim and Annual reports. The compliance of accounting standards both from an International and Swedish perspective also rests within the team. These experiences combined provide an excellent platform for personal development and a career in finance.

The position is located at the Group’s head office in Stockholm City, but ASSA ABLOY also offer their employers to work some days at other locations.

Key Responsibilities

You work with a wide variety of tasks, but your key responsibilities will be:

  • Consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting
  • Analysis and reconciliations of financial reporting
  • Interim and Annual reports
  • Support subsidiaries in matters related to financial reporting and accounting standards
  • Part of acquisition processes
  • Close contact with division controllers, subsidiaries and other functions within Group Finance
  • Continuously develop routines, financial manuals and principles
  • Participate in group projects

Your profile

You have an academic degree in finance, accounting, or related field and approximately 3-5 years of work experience within auditing or accounting. You have strong Excel skills and a good understanding working with software programs and systems. Furthermore, you are fluent in both English and Swedish.

Personal skills

You are a high performing individual with a great sense of accuracy and the ability to structure complex information and data. You see yourself as a typical ”doer” and work effectively in a team environment as well as individually.
