About the position

Stillfront Group is now strengthening the central finance team with a new position and are therefore looking for a Financial controller. This position provides an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior management in a dynamic and international environment. As a Financial Controller you will be a part of the Financial Control team responsible for the consolidation of the Group’s financial reporting, the compliance of IFRS standards and the development and maintenance of the accounting and reporting processes. You will report to Head of Group Controlling and the position will be based at the head office in central Stockholm.

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Controller you will primarily work with the following tasks:

  • Participate in the Group’s financial reporting
  • Responsible for the correct application of IFRS standards at group level
  • Provide clear guidance to the studios and assist in the quality assurance of the reporting
  • Support the treasury team in the accounting application and treatment of financial instruments including hedge accounting
  • Develop the accounting and reporting processes by building tools and automate processes
  • In time support with accounting advise on M&A transactions and the integration of new studios  
  • Assist with system administration of the financial consolidation system Aaro

Your profile

You have an academic degree in finance & accounting, or related field with strong academic record and minimum 5 years of work experience within auditing or financial accounting advisory, and/or financial controlling. You have expertise in IFRS and an interest in local accounting standards. You have strong knowledge of Excel and a good understanding working with accounting tools. Furthermore you are fluent in both English and Swedish.

You have a great sense of accuracy, good analytical skills and the ability to structure complex information and data. You understand the importance of details but still have the ability to see the big picture and focus on the tasks that creates the greatest value. You are conscientious and motivated by responsibility, both while working individually and in teams. Since Stillfront operates in a dynamic and international environment it is important that you are flexible and able to adapt to new situations.
