At Arrive, you will find a professional environment that values development, collaboration, and continuous improvement. The finance team works with a clear focus on learning and innovation and encourage knowledge-sharing across functions. This role suits someone who is comfortable working with both financial reporting and systems, and who is motivated by the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Is this your next challenge?
As Group Accountant, you will be part of a dedicated and skilled Group Accounting team of four, within a broader Group Finance function of eight. You’ll take on an important role in supporting the team’s ongoing work across key reporting and system areas. The position reports to Group Accounting Manager and is based at the company’s modern and centrally located office in Stockholm.
This role is crucial for the group’s financial credibility and operational efficiency. You will be involved in the consolidation and financial reporting process and play a key role in the continued development of financial systems and workflows, with particular focus on Aaro and its integration with systems such as NetSuite and QlikSense. You’ll also act as a key support to other departments, including Treasury, Controlling, and external stakeholders such as auditors and investors. With a strong focus on automation and harmonization, you’ll be expected to help drive several improvement projects and play an active part in budgeting and forecasting for the balance sheet.
If you enjoy identifying inconsistencies in data, improving systems, and applying accounting knowledge in a dynamic and growing environment – this is your opportunity to shape a high-impact role.
Main responsibilities
As a Group Accountant, you will work closely with your team and be collectively responsible for the following key tasks:
- Monthly and yearly group consolidation and ensure high-quality financial reporting.
- Prepare external financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ensure reconciliation with internal reports.
- Produce and compile the annual report for the Group.
- Monitor updates in global accounting standards and implement new or updated accounting principles across the group.
- Support both internal and external stakeholders on complex group accounting issues.
- Manage internal and external audit processes from the group accounting perspective.
- Maintain and develop the Aaro consolidation system and related accounting structures.
- Act as a superuser and key contact for financial systems (Aaro, NetSuite, QlikSense), driving usage and efficiency.
- Lead or participate in accounting-related projects, focusing on process automation and harmonization.
Who are you?
You are someone with a strong analytical mindset, a proactive approach to solving problems, and a passion for continuous improvement. You enjoy working with data and systems and have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture. Collaboration is second nature to you, and you’re confident communicating with colleagues across different departments and seniority levels. With natural curiosity and a love for structure, you thrive in a fast-moving environment where your insights make a difference.
Your profile
You have a degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and bring a few years of relevant experience within group accounting. You have solid knowledge of IFRS and hands-on experience with group consolidation processes. A strong understanding of financial systems is essential, and familiarity with Aaro and/or NetSuite is highly valued. You are fluent in English, and proficiency in Swedish is considered beneficial.
