We are looking for a result-oriented, analytical and technically skilled individual to take on an impactful role within a transformative and data-driven setting. In this position, while you report directly to the VP of Business Control & Strategic Planning, you will be working as a junior member of the Business Controlling team and play an integral role in redefining the team’s way of working with data and AI.
The role will include close collaboration with various stakeholders in Group management, delivering actionable insights to enhance business decision-making, and building the tools used to steer the business on a Group level. As you are likely early in your career, you will have the opportunity to develop and learn at a high rate in a small team of skilled controllers while contributing to our ambition of fully leveraging a modern tech stack.
Securitas offers a unique opportunity to be a part of an international company that is currently in an exciting phase of change. The Group Business Controlling team provides a unique vantage point with a broad view over the entire business of a large, stock-listed company. Together this provides a strong platform for someone at their start of their career. If this sounds intriguing to you, we welcome your application!
The position is located at Securitas’ head office in Kungsholmen, Stockholm.
Your main areas of responsibility
You will work closely with the other members of the Business Controlling team, learning the success drivers of our business, providing analyses and actionable insights to our management and Board of Directors, and developing reports, tools and processes. You will be expected to:
- Continuously develop new and improved reports to support new ways of working and better integrate with our shifting system landscape
- Increase automation wherever possible, including integrating agentic AI into monthly and quarterly routines
- Conduct financial analysis for data-driven insights to senior management, including developing tools and reports using Excel, Power BI and other platforms
- Support the development of Group-wide standards, policies, processes and related tools and documentation
- Develop and track financial and operational KPIs, offering actionable insights and recommendations
- Continuously challenge our internal ways of working to find improvements that make us more effective and/ or efficient
You will be working in a modern data stack environment based on Azure Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Excel and Tagetik, where we are building the next generation of Group reporting and analytics.
Your profile and qualifications
We believe the future of Business Controlling belongs to those who master data as naturally as they master finance and business. To qualify for this role, you’ll need both financial knowledge and genuine technical curiosity. You should be as comfortable in Excel and Power BI as you are in Python. We expect you’ve built things – scripts, models, AI agents – not because it was course work, but in your spare time; because you wanted to understand how they work.
You like to get things done and see the results of your efforts, which means you measure success by what you actually deliver, not just by what you plan to do. You enjoy working in a setting that gives you direction and purpose, but also the freedom to take ownership and drive your work forward. While we’re not in the future yet, we are heading there. As a part of the team, you will be a part of this transformation and help establish a modern, effective and technology augmented function.
You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, and have proven academic merit from a well-regarded institution. You are either straight from university or have up to a couple of years of experience, perhaps from a similar role or through a trainee program or internship within the field.
