As Project & Production Controller, you will be responsible for the financial management of both project execution and production operations within Teledyne FLIR’s Surveillance division, based at the site in Täby. The portfolio is complex and includes both domestic and international contracts, cost-based as well as fixed-price agreements, and spans across development, production and service delivery.
The role includes budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting and financial follow-up, with full ownership of the P&L for your business area. You will work closely with engineering, program management and other local functions, as well as with finance colleagues in the broader Teledyne organization.
To succeed, you need to work proactively within tight deadlines, deliver on commitments, and hold teams accountable. The position requires a combination of operational and analytical work, including the ability to provide senior-level financial planning and control guidance, and to summarize and present financial information in a clear and structured way to stakeholders at all levels.
The role is based in Täby and reports to the Finance Director for Surveillance EMEA.
Your main responsibilities:
- Own financial management across projects and production, ensuring accurate cost tracking and performance support
- Lead monthly closings and deliver P&L reporting with variance and trend analysis
- Act as finance partner to program and engineering teams, supporting project tracking and EAC/VAR analysis
- Manage forecasting and budgeting, combining bottom-up planning with top-down targets
- Present financial reports and forecasts to senior management
- Support decision-making through business cases, ROI and scenario analysis
- Coordinate with global finance teams for consistent reporting in SAP and BPC
- Maintain and improve financial processes, program structures and SAP workflows
- Drive continuous improvements in reporting, controls and analysis tools
- Develop dashboards and KPIs in Power BI and SAP to strengthen financial insight
Who are you?

You hold a degree in finance, accounting or business administration, and have at least five years of experience from a controlling role, ideally in a technically advanced, low-volume production setting such as defense, aerospace, medtech or similar. You’re well-versed in project accounting, cost tracking and financial partnering. Advanced Excel skills are a given, and you’re familiar with tools like SAP and Power BI. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, and feel at ease in an international context.
