In this role as Financial Controller Security Services Europe, you will be part of an international environment, gaining exposure to and working closely with senior and highly professional stakeholders across Europe. This is a broad role, but the focus will be on cost follow-up and reporting, while also including project and development work.
In this position you will be part of the Security Services Europe Controller team, reporting directly to CFO Security Services Europe. The controller team is working as an enabling function, providing business support and ensuring financial quality for the countries in Europe. As the Financial Controller of Security Services Europe, you will be the connecting person between our countries of operation and Securitas AB as regards divisional overhead costs. You will work together with the Securitas Group functions as regards the management and controlling mainly focusing on costs, both staff and IT.
The position is based at Securitas HQ in Stockholm.
Your Responsibilities
- Monthly closings and follow up. Prepare closings, forecasts and business plans for the SSE divisional functions
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Support and communicate financial information to divisional management
- Business Planning
- Analyze financial performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist management regarding staff remuneration and target setting
- Be the connecting point towards the Securitas AB finance department and Securitas IT
- Different types of Management Reporting and ad-hoc tasks
Your profile and qualifications
To succeed in this role, we believe that you are diligent, efficient, and have strong prioritization skills. Delivering high-quality work comes naturally to you, and you maintain good structure in your tasks. As a lot is happening at Securitas, it is important that you have a positive attitude towards change and renewal, and that you enjoy working in a high-paced environment. You are motivated by working proactively, have strong collaboration skills, and are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels. As you will also be involved in the unit’s development work, it is important that you are a problem-solver who constantly reflects on how things can be done more efficiently and effectively.
You have an academic degree in finance or accounting and at least 3 years of experience as an auditor at a Big Four firm and/or in a similar role as a financial controller. Experience working in an international environment is required, and you speak and write English and fluently. You are data-driven and a proficient Excel user, with the ability to process and analyze large amounts of data and present insights in a concise and structured manner. Experience in BI tools is a plus.
